Emma Misak, an esteemed Bgirl hailing from Surrey, BC, Canada, stands as a beacon of excellence in the world of breakdancing. With an impressive career spanning 9 years, Emma's journey in dance has taken her to professional competitions across the globe. Her notable achievements are headlined by her remarkable success at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, where she clinched a silver medal, showcasing her prowess on an Olympic stage. Emma has been a dominant force in the breaking scene, as evidenced by her victories in the Redbull BC One Canada cypher in both 2021 and 2013, and her participation in the Red Bull BC One World finals as a chosen wildcard in 2022. Her consistent excellence is further highlighted by her triumphs in the Canada Dancesport competition in 2021 and 2023, a top 7 finish at the 2023 Pan Am Games, and a top 4 placement at Outbreak Europe 2023.
Emma's journey reached a new pinnacle as she recently earned a place on the Canada Olympic Team, embarking on the rigorous journey to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. This milestone underscores her commitment to achieving the highest echelons of breakdancing. With over 7 years of experience in teaching breaking, Emma is passionate about nurturing the upcoming generation of Bboys and Bgirls in Metro Vancouver.
